When another health plan feels like another demand
Perhaps you start with good intentions, then lose momentum when life gets busy.
Perhaps you spend so much energy managing everyday responsibilities that cooking, moving or winding down feels like one task too many.
Or perhaps you have read plenty of advice, but still find yourself asking:
“What do I actually start with, and what do I do when I can’t manage it?”
This guide gives you a structure to return to. You can choose a manageable starting point, make room for difficult days and build on what you learn.
Â
A plan with room for real life
Your energy, attention and capacity can change from day to day. The Brain Reset includes three levels so you can choose what fits:
Minimum
A smaller version of an action for days when your capacity is limited. A way to keep something manageable within reach.
Target
A fuller action to work towards when you have more time or energy.
Experiment
An opportunity to explore an adjustment and notice whether it suits you.
You also get a Minimum Day Plan, so you have a simpler starting point when deciding what to do feels overwhelming.

How is this different from the free guides?
The free I-SNEMS Foundations Guide and Neurodivergent Supplement Guide introduce the ideas and help you understand your options.
The Brain Reset adds a structure for putting ideas into practice:
-
A 28-day plan to work through.
-
Minimum, Target and Experiment options.
-
A plan for difficult days.
-
Planning pages and weekly check-ins.
The next step is choosing what you can realistically use in your own life.
Â
Is the Brain Reset right for you?
This guide may be a good fit if you:
-
Are a neurodivergent adult who finds conventional health routines difficult to maintain.
-
Want a clearer starting point for supporting your everyday wellbeing.
-
Prefer practical choices to rigid rules.
-
Need a plan that acknowledges executive dysfunction and changing energy levels.
-
Are ready to try small actions and reflect on what works for you.
This is a self-guided educational resource. It does not provide a diagnosis, individual medical advice or a promise of particular health results.
“Reset” describes an opportunity to revisit your habits and foundations. It does not mean curing neurodivergence or changing who you are.
Why I created this guide
Â
I’m Dr Duncan Couch, a UK GP who qualified in 2007.
My interest in health is both professional and personal. I have lived with chronic illness, mental health difficulties and addiction. Recovery, followed by an ADHD diagnosis, changed how I understood my own brain and body.
It also deepened my interest in the everyday foundations that support health.
I know that understanding advice and being able to follow it are different things. That is why I created this guide with practical choices, flexibility and difficult days in mind.
My aim is to help you understand your options and find a starting point that feels possible.
Questions you might have
Â
Do I have to change everything at once?
No. Start with a manageable action. The guide gives you options so you can choose where to put your attention.
What if I have a difficult week?
Use the Minimum options and Minimum Day Plan. The weekly check-ins give you an opportunity to adjust your approach as circumstances change.
How is the guide delivered?
It is a downloadable guide, with immediate access after purchase.
Is this personal medical advice?
No. It provides general health education and practical planning tools. Speak to your own healthcare professional about symptoms, treatment or changes involving medication and supplements.
